I guess I was lucky; my mom breastfed all of her babies, at least for a while. There was a lot of resistance to this in the 50’s-60’s, but she was a farm girl, and that’s what HER mother had done. I also had a great mentor/coach who was also a LLL counselor to answer questions & help me when my daughter was born. I successfully breastfed her exclusively for the first 6 months, and weaned for good when she was almost 3. Since I had to return to work full-time when she was 8 weeks old, I now realize that that was quite an accomplishment! Keep up the good work, and the blogs when you can. B*B

I think the feeling I got watching diapers dry in the wind was this deep clean whoooosh that clung like a silk shirt. Simply wonderful.
Oh, if you have more recycled whip containers I made a jack n the box (without music) with a stuffed toy, glue, and a spring i got from walmart. Its really easy and kinda fun.
If there is anything I can do to help with the Mommy Organization you want to start up let me know and I’ll do whatever I can.

Thanks for the offer to help. I can use help researching and planning local get togethers once things get underground with the Mommies Network, I’ll keep you posted!
